BIG A RED
Contains Cabernet Franc and Chambourcin. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral barrels. Aromas of strawberries and cream, red raspberries, blackberries, and violets. Soft, creamy palate with a fruity mid-palate. Fine, dusty tannins, with earthy hints. Smooth and persistent finish. Pairs well with grilled meats, raspberry cheesecake, BBQ, and medium to hard cheeses.
Vibrant aromas of dark cherry and berry mingle with white pepper, caramel and milk chocolate. This sweet, bold wine shows tons of elegance with strong tannins that lead to a strong lingering finish.
Contains 100% Traminette. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. Floral notes of rose and white blossoms, with a sweet honeysuckle finish. Smooth, soft mid-palate with balanced, crisp acidity on the finish. Pairs well with fruits, salads, turkey, and spicy dishes.

This classic Thistle White Wine is 100% estate grown Seyval Blanc. This is an off dry wine that is aged in stainless steel tanks. Two percent residual sugar and pairs especially well with spicy food, chicken and cheeses.
Our 2017 Seyval Blanc is fermented dry. Subtle notes of pineapple and melon, highlight slight citrus on the finish.
2016 ST. GEORGE RED
Estate grown, late harvest Chambourcin grapes blended with 20% Cab Franc. 2016 St. George is aged in 2nd year oak barrels. Cherry flavors and heavy legs abound in our signature red wine. Pairs well with everything!
Our secret recipe is a lovely mixture of fruit juices and estate grown Chambourcin. Our sangria contains no preservatives. Refrigerate and enjoy within two weeks. 7.4% alcohol
2014 DECHIEL MERITAGE
A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc. Barrel aged 36 months prior to bottling. Elegant luscious fruit with soft tannins. Serve with your best beef recipes, venison tenderloin, and lamb.
ST. MARY'S BLANC
Barrel fermented with Malolactic fermentation giving this wine a buttery finish. This is a dry Vidal Blanc with subtle notes of vanilla, lemon and toast.
This wine is a blend of Concord grapes and Vidal Blanc with 4% residual sugar. It is a blushing, lively wine that is fresh, fruity, and fun. Classic, foxy, and sweet.

A blend of Chambourcin, DeChaunac, Cab Sauv, and Cab Franc. Our Tuscarora Red is a clear, ruby-red color, with deeply fruited bouquet of plum, black cherry, and blackberry. This wine is lively and fresh on the palate, with soft, rounded tannins followed by a moderate finish. The fresh, well- structured character of this wine makes it an ideal complement to all types of Italian food.

Sourced entirely from our home block of Chardonnay, just south of Charlottesville. The wine displays all of the ripe, tropical fruit characteristic of our warm, westerly exposition and deep, clay soils. Matured in a variety of new and old French oak barrels for a full year, the Estate Chardonnay undergoes full malolactic fermentation to draw out depth and imbue it with a subtle, toasty edge.
Freshness and tropicality are always the defining characteristics of the Zephyr blend. The 2017 vintage continues its course driven by Riesling and Chardonnay, the predominant varietals in this blend. Intense candied fruit aromatics recall notes of honeydew, Granny Smith apple and pear. Zephyr’s zippy profile, low alcohol, and punchy fruit make it a perfect pair served ice cold with Southeast Asian or Indian cuisine.
Thatch House Red is 100% Chambourcin. With aromas of caramel, this easy drinking light-bodied red features intense boysenberry and candied blueberry flavors. Subtle hints of blackberry cobbler and black cherry on the finish.
As vivid and high-toned a Bordeaux blend, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, as First Colony has ever produced, the 2016 Meritage soars from the glass with all the perfume and intrigue of a fine, coastal Pinot Noir. Glossy red fruit flavors of sour cherry and pomegranate are given lift and verve by a certain herbal piquancy that screams Cabernet Franc, somewhere between juniper and fresh mint. Given the wine’s up-front, juicy fruit character, fresh acidity, and fully-resolved tannins, the 2016 Meritage will be at its best over the next three years, preferably paired with something off the grill.

Our signature Rosé is bright and fresh, a dry Rosé, made from 100% Chambourcin. The 2019 vintage is a beautiful, light salmon color with beautiful crisp acidity. It offers aromas of wild mountain strawberries and zingy grapefruit. The perfect refreshment for warm Virginia days!
The latest release of our Extra Brut Sparkling White, we’d like to introduce our 2018 vintage! With about the same amount of effervescence as you would find in a traditional Prosecco, you’ll enjoy these fun light bubbles with aromas of white peach and grapefruit with crisp acidity. It is made from 100% Chardonel grapes grown here on our estate and produced using the Charmat method here at the Winery and is unfiltered to give it more depth and body and has zero dosage, making it one of the driest bottles of bubbles you will find.
The Rosemont Virginia White is our estate dry white wine blend – one that is versatile for any occasion or cuisine. It is a crisp dry white, reminiscent of a Pinot Grigio, yet it has more body and fruity characteristics that also harken to our signature white wine, Lineage. It’s a blend of all of the white hybrid varietals that we grow on our estate – Vidal Blanc, Chardonel and Traminette.
LAKE COUNTRY SUNSET
This sweet white wine has aromas of pear, honeysuckle, and pineapple with undertones of citrus. Medium bodied with a complimentary sweet finish, perfect for sitting on the patio watching the sun go down.
A classic red table wine, medium bodied with bright aromas of bing cherries, black currants and oak that lead to a lingering fruity finish.

The name Kilravock comes from the castle in Scotland which the Rose clan has called home and to where we can trace our ancestry. We chose to use this name for our signature red wine blend, which allows us the opportunity to make the best wine possible from each vintage, hand-selecting the barrels that we feel produce the best wine. It also allows us to use any grapes that we have available to us to make the best blend, not just limiting us to Bordeaux varietals.
This vintage of Kilravock begins with aromas of dark plums, cherry, cocoa and touches of leather . On the palate, it is fruit-forward with hints of caramel, toast and just a touch of oak. It’s a bold wine with strong tannins that will soften over time. This wine can certainly be cellared for years to come, or enjoyed now after a bit of decanting or with a steak.
Forbidden is a dry rosé made from Chambourcin grapes grown by Pinehaven Vineyards. The delicate color and gentle crispness make Forbidden an absolute pleasure to drink and share with friends. Drink Forbidden for pleasure, without the guilt.

Indulgence is our signature wine. Each vintage changes to reflect the most balanced wine we can achieve with our Bordeaux varietals. 2017 features Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot.

We co-ferment our Petit Verdot with Viognier skins and then add 5% of our finished Viognier wine prior to bottling. The Viognier allows more floral bouquet also reducing some of tannin characteristics of the Petit Verdot, making this an exquisite marriage.
This Port style wine is made from Chambourcin grapes, fortified with an unoaked, unaged brandy and sweetened to 6% sweetness. It was aged in bourbon barrels for 21 months. It is best enjoyed after dinner or as a night cap or to toast anything special in your life.
